Creators crave an audience.
Many bloggers view themselves as personal publishers, citizen journalists, and trend modulators. They see their blog as being able to make a difference in the world, in one way or another.
It can happen. But to do it, there has to be one main ingredient.
An audience.
Not just ‘eyeballs’ visiting the blog, but curious, interested, attentive crowds. People who consume your content, think over your opinions and viewpoints, and get enough value from whatever you are offering to keep coming back - and bringing their friends along.
You need attention.
One way to get it is by providing great content. Another is by excellent marketing. A third is by leveraging contacts and networks. However you choose to do it, once you’ve gained a following, you can make an impact with your blog.
You will have influence.
How do you go about this in your own blog? Got any tips to share?
