Unlike a goal or target, your purpose is never quite done or finished. It just keeps evolving.

And so it is important to keep at it in a sustainable fashion. Not dashing around at warp speed only to run out of steam half-way through the race.

Someone said about business that it is like a marathon more than a short sprint. Sustaining your purpose is too.

The nice bit is the way things snowball and gather momentum as you persist. Like an iceberg, in the early part of your efforts, nothing apparently seems to take place. But it does - beneath the surface!

And then, at a point, you reach ‘critical mass’ - and magical things start happening. As you keep moving, the momentum you have built up now gets stronger and more forceful, carrying you along faster and higher, with lesser effort.

But it isn’t always easy to sustain a purpose over the long term. It requires focus, dedication and determination.

And passion.

Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen. When you seal it with a burning passion, nothing can stop it from happening.
