With rare exceptions, most organizations, causes, or networks start with a limited purpose.
You may start a home business with the limited purpose of providing your family with some benefits the extra cash will bring. Or to give yourself a little extra time with them that a hectic work schedule denies. Or to make life easier for yourself, by getting a boorish boss out of it.
But as you succeed and grow your business, there is no reason your purpose need be limited to how it began. You can scale up your purpose - and make it bigger, wider, deeper than before.
Take time every year, or every six months, to re-evaluate your core purpose. What does it look like in the light of where you are today? Is it still just as relevant, or should you think bigger?
Challenge your status quo by scaling up your purpose. As everything else is tied to it, the size of your dreams automatically grows - taking you higher and higher.
