Even with a vague, nebulous sense of what your purpose is, you can achieve miracles. The real power kicks in, though, when you crystallize and distill it into a focused statement or mission.
By honing it down into a guiding vision for everything that you do, you turn your purpose into a becaon that lights up your path, keeps you from going astray, and leads you surely and securely to where you ought to go.
Clarity does not necessarily mean getting into nitty-gritty details. But it does require that you break your purpose down to the core essentials, and then state it in a way that is both easy to understand and also powerfully motivating.
I carry a short note in my wallet that states my purpose in a punchy statement. Pulling it out from time to time to read gives me a jolt of mental energy and motivation.
