Kolkata Knight Riders Beat the Punjab Kings XI in a thrilling match that saw the Knight Riders floundering at 106 for six at one stage. But Saurav Ganguly, the darling of the Eden Garden crowds would not let down his loyal fans with out signing off with a victory for his team. The Kolkata crowds had passionately supported his team both in victory and defeat. They came for every match determined to support their team come what may and Ganguly could not let that trust go in vain. He scored a brilliant knock and took his team to victory. Earlier Mohali scored the highest score in this tournament at the Eden Gardens by making 146.

The Knight Riders are out of the tournament but they went out in style. We expect better times in the next outing. Goodbye to Kolkata Knight Riders.
