M.S. Dhoni was the most expensive acquisition in the IPL at over one half million dollars.

Warne was the most expensive acquisition for his team the Rajasthan Royals which notoriously spent lesser than the minimum 3.3 millions in acquiring players. But that did not stop Rajasthan Royals from topping the tables with 11 victories in 14 matches against some very fancied opponents with players bought for millions. Warne was bought for a paltry $400,000 in comparison.

Now, in the finals featuring no icons of the IPL except Dhoni it will be an interesting contest between the two captains - Captain Cool Dhoni and Captain Inspirational Warne.  We are a team of equals with all members getting an equal role in decision making and getting the work done. Every player believes in himself and that is the reason we have pulled off so many victories even when the going seemed tough.

In contrast, the Chennai team started off well, faltered in the middle and squeaked through into the semis. But, they have a T20 World cup winning captain in their midst and less than 20 overs to recover from their semi-final clash against the Mohali team.
