Dravid is a class act, one of the most unselfish players in International cricket( from batting anywhere in the lineup to keeping wickets and playing anchor). He is technaically one of the most sound batsman the world has seen, in the latter part of his carrer he had come of age in ODIs as well scoring at a brisk pace. However the IPL format tends to take the best of most players. with its short one and a half moth period and each team playing 14 matches and practicing everyday, it is one of the hardest esp for the older lot. nothing to take away from dravid but this is not a format he is suited for. He requires his time to settle in and is at his supreme best when he has got that. this was shown in the last game against RR. well.
