Gilchrist became the captain of the Deccan Chargers team, that team that spent the most money and finished last in the IPL. It’s other costly acquistions include Symmonds and Gibbs. But somehow the team never clicked. Except for new comes Rohit Sharma and Ojha none of the established stars made a big impact. Hopefully the next year will see and change in the fortunes of this city team.
